Due to repairs to the South (lower) gate, entry to Veveří Castle is only possible through the West (upper) gate from the U Matky Boží bus stop. On Sunday, 30 August and 27 September, admission to selected guided tours at this site will be free of charge. Please obtain your free ticket in advance through the online booking system. Capacity for each guided tour is limited. On these special days, the following tours will be available Veveří Castle Courtyards and Prince Vasa's Suite. On Saturday, August 8, the Architectural and Historical Development of the Castle circuit will not be in operation
Opening hours
In April and October the castle premises are open on weekends and national holidays, from 10 am to 5 pm. From May to September it is open every day except Monday, from 10 am until 6 pm.
It is not possible to enter the castle premises outside of the opening hours.
