Due to repairs to the South (lower) gate, entry to Veveří Castle is only possible through the West (upper) gate from the U Matky Boží bus stop.
Architectural and Historical Development of Castle Veveří
A special tour that will guide you through the castle, from the cellars to the attics, and provide you with insight into some historical and architectural terminology. The tour will also reveal economic conditions of Veveří from the time of its last owners as well as Gothic premises that have been preserved.
This tour is only accessible to visitors aged 15 and older!
This tour is physically demanding (climbing across several floors at once, transitions from hot to cold environment and vice versa).
